Beaumont Family Wine is nestled in the heart of Boatrivier in the Overberg.
They offer rustic and elegant cottages stay and we couldn’t resist to spend a night of the of city!
We enjoyed our wine tasting on their outdoor sitting under the eucalyptus trees facing the Overberg landscape. The wine selection is great with 9 platter 5 stars rating Chardonay “Hope Marguerite 2022 ”;Only fruit selected from their two oldest Chenin Blanc vineyards, planted in ‘74 and ‘78, are used for this wine and makes its particularity. Pinotage was the first wine made at Beaumont Wines and we tried the “Jackals River Pinotage 2021” 4 stars winner in Platter, elegant with ripe fruits flavour and berry.
Taste and take a walk along the pears and apple trees of the property before going back to their cozy cottages. Weather was fresh so we officially said goodbye to Summer, started our first fire of the year while enjoying their homemade fish pie dish and Raoul red blend.
